Altus Fire & Life Safety is a full-service fire and life safety services platform. We offer a complete suite of solutions, from the design, engineering, installation, and servicing of state-of-the-art fire and life safety systems to training, consulting, crisis management and business continuity services.
This role represents the first dedicated marketing leadership hire and requires a builder/operator capable of both strategy and hands-on execution. This role will report directly to Altus CCO.

  • Builder-Operator (Player/Coach)
    Must build the function from zero while executing campaigns, systems, and reporting directly.
  • AI-Enabled Operator
    Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (Claude/ChatGPT, automation platforms, AI SEO tools) to scale marketing output, automate workflows, and improve efficiency.
  • Local Demand Generation Expertise
    Deep experience driving leads at the local level (SEO, Google Ads, LSAs, local partnerships).
  • Revenue Ownership Mindset
    Focus on qualified pipeline growth, lead-to-quote conversion, booked jobs, cross-selling effectiveness, and associated revenue/gross margin contributionโ€”not vanity metrics.
  • Multi-Brand / Roll-Up Experience
    Ability to unify or rationalize branding across acquired/local entities.
  • Sales Alignment
    Strong partnership with field sales teams; builds practical tools and sales collateral that accelerates new customer acquisition and maximizes inter-company cross-selling efforts across Altus.
  • Hands-On Digital + CRM Fluency
    Comfortable implementing and managing CRM, attribution, and campaigns directly.
  • Compliance-Aware Marketing
    Ability to message around safety, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance (focusing more on impact of our solutions in addition to technical competence and differentiation across our complete spectrum of capabilities)
