To thrive as a Fire Dancer, you need strong coordination, rhythm, physical fitness, and experience with fire props and performance safety. Knowledge of fire safety protocols, proper fueling techniques, and possibly a fire safety certification are often necessary, along with tools like poi, staffs, fans, or hula hoops designed for fire performance. Standout fire dancers also possess creativity, stage presence, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
