Senior Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

  • Help lead the modernization of the WealthCare Administration platform by designing and developing scalable, cloud-native microservices.

  • Own the full development lifecycle: architect features, code, and deploy distributed applications in Azure.

  • Bring expertise in C#, .NET, and cloud technologies to solve real-world problems and shape the future of our enterprise platform.

  • Collaborate across teams in an agile, cross-functional environment, influencing product evolution.

  • Contribute to the architectural vision and drive forward-thinking solutions in a fast-paced, supportive engineering culture.


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience developing modern, distributed web applications using C# (.NET Core 3.1/.NET 5+), ASP.NET, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

  • Strong expertise in microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), API design, and event-driven frameworks such as Kafka, EventHub, or ServiceBus.

  • Deep understanding of data storage (RDBMS and NoSQL) and designing production-ready solutions in agile environments.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver complex, production-ready solutions while communicating technical concepts across teams.

  • Collaborative, hands-on coder with a focus on continuous learning and adoption of new technologies.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in data science or a related field.


Location & Work Arrangement

This job is hybrid and requires the employee to be in the office in Boston, Maitland, or Milwaukee 25% of the time.


Compensation

Position Compensation Range: $104,300.00 - $177,800.00 (based on job-related skills, experience, and education; may vary by location and market conditions). Additional total compensation may include bonuses, incentive plans, and a comprehensive benefits package.
