Entry-Level Cloud Engineer — Job Description

Fulltime

Experience: 1-4 years


Responsibilities

  • Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Monitor cloud resources, applications, and system performance.
  • Support virtual machines, storage, databases, networking, and IAM.
  • Troubleshoot basic cloud infrastructure and connectivity issues.
  • Write and maintain scripts for automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Assist with CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
  • Implement basic security, backup, and access-control practices.
  • Document infrastructure configurations and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and IT teams.


Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Linux fundamentals and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
  • Familiarity with Git.
  • Basic scripting/programming skills.
