Sr FinOps Business Analyst Washington, DC – 100% Onsite Per Federal contract U.S. citizenship is required Must be able to obtain PASS federal background check for Public Trust clearance Long Term W2 with benefits or C2C Contract Must Apply by September 7th Position Requirements: Responsibilties

  • Take a lead role in supporting cloud cost management software for the Federal Reserve Board.
  • Onboard new users; create widgets, dashboards and reports.
  • Prepare documentation and user guides.
  • Compare data sets to ensure consistency.
  • Draft presentations and reports as needed.
Knowledge
  • A solid foundation in cloud computing concepts and terminology
  • Understanding of AWS cloud computing services (desired)
  • Knowledge of FinOps (i.e. cloud cost management) principles
  • Familiarity with data analysis concepts and best practices
  • Knowledge of IBM Cloudability or similar FinOps tools
  • Knowledge of scripting tools and languages (desired but not required)
Skills
  • Technical Skills: - Proficient in creating and analyzing data visualizations, charts, and pivot tables (Excel/Power BI) - Working knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) - Ability to manipulate and analyze datasets
  • Soft Skills: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, highly technical teams - Quick learner with adaptability to new technologies and tools - Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with data analysis and reporting
  • Experience and/or certification in cloud computing environments (AWS preferred)

Education
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field and 10 years of experience
