Cloud FinOps Architect
The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to harness the cloud, but managing cloud investments effectively requires more than simply moving workloads to the cloud. As a Lead Cloud FinOps Architect, you know how to bring together cloud architecture, financial operations, data, and automation to help organizations maximize the value of their cloud investments. What if you could use your cloud and FinOps expertise to improve Public Health data modernization? We need you to help develop the capabilities needed to provide transparency into cloud costs, optimize resources, and support strategic technology decisions for some of Public Health's toughest challenges.
On our team, you'll serve as a senior technical leader, defining the technical vision and roadmap for cloud financial operations. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team of cloud engineers, data architects, and analysts while designing and implementing scalable capabilities for cloud cost management, governance, reporting, forecasting, and automation. Your technical expertise will be vital as you translate business and financial objectives into technical strategies and collaborate with cloud, data, engineering, and business stakeholders to improve the value and efficiency of cloud investments.
You'll architect solutions that provide visibility into cloud expenses, usage patterns, and financial trends across business units and departments. You'll leverage cloud billing data, FOCUS data, billing APIs, cost and usage reports, and financial models to identify optimization opportunities and support forecasting and strategic planning. You'll also lead the development of dashboards, reporting pipelines, and automated capabilities that enable leadership to make informed decisions about cloud investments. This position is located in Atlanta, GA.
Ready to transform Public Health data modernization through cloud financial operations?
