Job description

Position Summary
Our client is looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Langhorne, PA. This is a great chance to join a well established team in the Bucks County region.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, fabricated weldments, and assemblies for industrial equipment using Autodesk Inventor.
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with engineering and industry standards.
Perform mechanical analysis, including structural, thermal, vibration, and finite element (FEA) evaluations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and vendors to develop cost-effective, manufacturable designs.
- Select and specify mechanical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components for new and existing equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) with 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, and 3D CAD modeling.
- Experience designing industrial machinery, mechanical power transmission systems, or automation equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including pneumatics and fabricated/machined components.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
