Position Title: Store Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to join our team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and leading a team to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the store's operations including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure the store meets sales goals and profitability targets.
  • Implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement company policies and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members.
  • Develop and implement promotional activities to drive sales.

Skills:
  • Proficiency in stock management and inventory control.
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to handle various operational tasks.

  • Requires standing approximately 5 - 8 hours per day usually 3 - 5 days per week, including nights and weekends.
  • During peak sale periods (e.g. Holiday, Back-to-School), will work for long periods throughout a 1 - 12 hour day.
  • Requires stooping and kneeling to place merchandise on customer's feet as well as reaching and pulling to obtain or stock merchandise on storage racks.
  • May be required to climb a ladder or ascend/descend stairs in order to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale.
  • Required to lift items weighing 5 - 25 lbs regularly. In certain circumstances, weights may be higher.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and effectively supervise staff.
  • Must be able to see and differentiate colors.
  • Required to work an average of 48 hours per week.
