Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans for carpentry tasks.

  • Measure, cut, and shape materials like wood, drywall, and trim using hand and power tools.

  • Perform framing (walls, floors, roofs) and finish carpentry (doors, windows, cabinetry, trim).

  • Install or repair stairs, flooring, drywall, siding, windows, doors, and related structures.

  • Maintain jobsite safety and organization at all times.

  • Collaborate with supervisors and fellow crew members to complete construction phases on schedule.

  • Use and maintain tools properly; assist with tool inventory and upkeep.

  • Document completed work, material use, and time spent daily.

  • Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.

  • Support a team-first jobsite culture and participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is a plus.

  • Proficiency in using carpentry tools and interpreting blueprints.

  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or in a team.

  • Physically able to perform construction tasks in various jobsite conditions.

  • No certifications or licenses required.
