Things You’ll Do 

  • Read and interpret plans and specifications to build projects correctly.
  • Communicate project issues and concerns with project manager and the customer.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.

 

Requirements 

  • 5+ years grading experience.
  • Must be able to finish parking lots and roads with slopes and crowns
  • Proven experience operating motor graders in finish grading applications.
  • Strong understanding of grading plans, blueprints, and site layouts.
  • Ability to achieve precise grade tolerances (within 0.10 feet or better).
  • Familiarity with GPS and laser-guided grading systems, and total station.
  • Knowledge of soil types and compaction requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with foremen and other equipment operators.
