Job description

The Fine Jewelry Sales Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional luxury retail experience while driving sales of fine jewelry, diamonds, watches, and related accessories. This role requires building meaningful customer relationships, identifying customer needs, providing expert product knowledge, and creating memorable shopping experiences that support business growth and customer loyalty.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming, professional shopping environment.
  • Engage customers through consultative selling techniques to understand their preferences, needs, and purchasing objectives.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of fine jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, watches, precious metals, and current fashion trends.
  • Assist customers in selecting merchandise that aligns with their style, budget, and special occasions.
  • Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals through proactive client engagement and relationship building.
  • Develop and maintain a clientele base through follow-up communications, referrals, and personalized service.
  • Accurately process sales transactions, special orders, repairs, and layaway purchases.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation standards, including showcases, displays, and inventory organization.
  • Stay informed about new product launches, promotions, and industry developments.
  • Assist with inventory counts, stock management, and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Support store operations and collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, security protocols, and ethical sales practices.
Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of jewelry sales, luxury retail sales, or customer service experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency.
Preferred
  • Experience selling fine jewelry, diamonds, luxury watches, or high-end accessories.
  • Jewelry product knowledge, including diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals.
  • Experience with clienteling and luxury retail environments.
