As a Security Officer Part Time in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations, and support access control practices as directed by site procedures.
  • Complete required reports and activity logs, communicate with site contacts and/or local responders when needed, and support daily operations with a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
