Job description

Financial Systems Analyst
Location: Remote (Pacific time zone hours required)
Duration: 12-month contract, with potential for extension
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Analyst to join a large, established organization undergoing a significant enterprise systems transformation. This role sits within a collaborative finance systems team and offers the opportunity to work across core financial operations while contributing to a dynamic period of change.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a PeopleSoft subject matter expert supporting General Ledger, Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and eProcurement modules
• Create and maintain business requirements documents, system configuration documents, functional specification documents, test plans, user training materials, and implementation documentation
• Work collaboratively with development teams to design, test, and implement system modifications and ensure successful delivery
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of business practices, regulations, workflows, interfaces, and systems design within assigned functional areas
• Provide ongoing analysis, maintenance, and functional support for financial systems across the organization
• Liaise with IT, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to resolve complex system errors and inquiries
• Lead process improvement by identifying and implementing PeopleSoft features not currently in use and recommending alignment with delivered PeopleSoft 9.2 solutions
• Interact with internal and external business stakeholders to understand, document, and support their business processes and requirements
Required Qualifications
• 4 years of experience in functional analysis supporting PeopleSoft Financials specifically - PeopleSoft experience is required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology, or two additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Thorough understanding of Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Financial Reporting, or Accounting business processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn systems and recommend appropriate changes
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and deliver accurate results under pressure
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
• PeopleSoft query skills and familiarity with the PeopleSoft financials data model
• Experience with PeopleSoft security administration
• Background in PeopleSoft implementations or upgrades, including Oracle PUM continuous delivery and selective adoption
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Approval Framework and nVision reporting
• Airline industry experience
• CPA certification
• IIBA CCBA or CBAP certification
Work Arrangement
Fully remote. Candidates must be available to work Pacific time zone hours. A brief onsite onboarding period may be requested but is not required.
Pay Range: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
