Job Description

Looking for a Financial Systems Specialist to work within its Corporate Finance & Accounting Department maintaining and assisting with updated to its financial consolidation system Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Financial Data Quality Manager (FDQM). Maintenance and support of data submission application that supports data transfer to corporate from over 800 business units. Will be part of a team that is responsible for effective operations and maintenance of financial systems.  

  • Manage/monitor data integrity by performing problem identification & resolution of issues related to financial applications

  • Provide data insight, extraction, and analysis as required to meet the needs of internal customers.

  • Maintain and update system documentation

  • Participate in testing applications relating to upgrades and application/system modifications

  • Participate in SoX compliance audits /Experience and Skills

Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology

  • 2-3 years of experience working with financial consolidation applications in a large corporate financial reporting department

  • HFM experience strongly preferred

  • Basic understanding of accounting/finance principles

  • Possess an understanding of financial processes, such as close, consolidations & reporting, planning and forecasting and reporting

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment are essential

  • Strong attention to detail
