Job Description

The TransFund Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for providing technical and operational support in the development of daily and monthly production processing of TransFund's systems applications; performs analysis, design, programming, and implementation of solutions needed to support the information needs for reporting and operations of Transfund Information Systems. To include manages, monitors and trouble-shoots production processing of TransFund's database systems; provides data management for billing, business unit reporting and profitability analysis systems, including customer, product reporting; manages the integration of data from a variety of sources for billing and accounting operations, financial and management accounting applications, and other end-user presentation systems.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will ensure data quality and validation controls are in place to support accurate reporting and mitigate risk associated with inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • You will provide data management and aggregate inputs from providers to support billing and accounting operations, including reconciling data.
  • You will provide support, technical and operational, to application users
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, or related field and 3-5 years experience Financial Analysis or equivalent work related experience of 5-7 years.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and operations; ability to analyze and interpret financial information and apply analytical techniques
  • Strong knowledge of Electronic Funds Transfer industry
  • Basic knowledge of data administration, relational database administration, and SQL processing
  • Excellent knowledge of Spreadsheet Models Building
  • Good understanding of Merchant and EFT Network processing
  • Good understanding of distributed processing, multi-user production environments, multitasking operations environments.
  • Strong understanding of business relationships (customer, products, and organization) and their interrelationships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
