Financial Systems Analyst II or Senior Financial Systems Analyst
Location: Fergus Falls, MN
Department: Accounting & Finance
Reports to: Manager, Financial Systems
Salary Grade: 10 or 12
Responsibilities
Do you enjoy solving business challenges through technology, systems, and process improvement? We are seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support and enhance the financial systems, applications, and integrations that are critical to the Company's accounting and financial operations.
In this role, you'll help ensure the reliability, integrity, and effectiveness of ERP and financial systems, support financial reporting and close processes, and collaborate with stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, IT, and Operations to drive continuous improvement. The level hired will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
What You'll Do
  • Support the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of ERP-related financial systems, business applications, and system integrations.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system, integration, and reporting issues.
  • Coordinate and perform testing for system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business partners, IT, vendors, and managed service providers to support effective system operations.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and internal controls.
  • Support financial close activities, reconciliations, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials.

What You'll Bring
We're looking for a collaborative professional who enjoys solving business challenges through technology, systems, and process improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems, financial systems, business applications, system integrations, or related business processes.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial business processes, financial reporting concepts, and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, technical teams, and vendors.

Additional Qualifications for Senior Financial Systems Analyst
In addition to the qualifications above, Senior Financial Systems Analyst candidates typically possess:
  • Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience supporting ERP systems, financial business systems, accounting applications, system integrations, or related business processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, financial applications, integrations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Experience leading complex system initiatives, enhancements, and process improvement efforts.
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance across functional teams
