Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Financial Manager to join our team onsite in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The Program Financial Manager will be responsible for all budget activities within our group.
  • Develop descriptive detail briefings to defend program funding requirements.
  • Prepare total program budget exhibits for presentation.
  • Build, maintain, track, and update spend plans and execution spreadsheets for funding actions using required systems
    Directs, implements, and administers formal aspects of program in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and government regulations. 
  • Prepare funding documents for program execution.
  • Responsible for the development of program-related financial data.
  • Ability to travel CONUS 25% maybe be required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or 4 or more years of relevant financial and budget experience.
  • Experience in budget formulation, analysis and administration.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office products
  • Experience creating annual budgetary spend plans
  • Experience monitoring annual budgetary spend plans against annual government known/standard metrics
  • Experience in tracking commitments, obligations, and expenditures of funds through out the life cycle of an acquisition/appropriation
  • Experience in analyzing cost performance reports and contract financial status reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Organizational Financial Information System (NFIS)
  • Experience with Financial Information Requirements Tool (FIRsT)
  • Experience with Request for Contract Action (RCA) tool
  • Experience with internal and external agreements coordination

Security Clearance Requirements:

Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
