Financial Service Representative


Lone Star Credit Union is searching for a member-focused, energetic and friendly individual for the Terrell Branch. The FSR will assist Members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instrument and identify and recommend additional products and services that would improve the financial well-being of the individual. Provides prompt, professional and courteous support to Members and fellow co-workers.


Responsibilities include:

  • Receive and process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, and loan payments in the branch lobby and through the drive-thru.
  • Respond to inquiries and process Member requests.
  • Identify Member needs and recommend product and service solutions.



Requirements

  • Minimum of six months customer/member experience in a financial institution.
  • Passion for building relationships and providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to identify financial needs through effective communication (ability to listen, ask questions, and articulate response)
  • Ability to educate Members about and make referrals to LSCU products & services
  • Proficient in utilizing PC, software, Microsoft Applications, and other office equipment
  • Fluent in Spanish is required
