Job description

Texell Credit Union, named one of the best credit unions to work for in the nation by American Banker, is seeking a Financial Service Coordinator at our corporate headquarters branch. The role of the Financial Service Coordinator is to provide 5-star service to members as they first walk into the credit union as you will be the first person they interact with.
 

The Financial Service Coordinator (FSC) creates a positive first impression for all guests visiting the location. The FSC serves as a liaison for all guests which may include members, non-members, new hires, job applicants, vendors, board members, and executives. The FSC will direct traffic, police secure areas, attend waiting guests in the lobby, and oversee all activity in lobby areas. Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the FSC may perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks as well as teller related functions. The Financial Services Coordinator maintains a positive, welcoming attitude and professional, polished image at all times.

  • Has previous customer service, cash handling, or financial institution experience.
  • Is detail-oriented and organized. Is comfortable multi-tasking on the phone, computer, and members at the same time.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to remain calm and courteous even when it's busy.
  • Is proficient with Microsoft 365 products such as Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Has a teamwork mentality and a drive to work with others to accomplish not only branch, but credit union goals.
  • Maintains a glass half-full outlook, a knack for smiling all the time, and the ability to provide stellar service.
