Job description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role in Woodland, WA. Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with the CEO and executive team to drive company strategy, long-term planning, and organizational development.
· Provide financial insights and strategic guidance to support operational performance, growth initiatives, and capital planning.
· Lead financing efforts, including raising capital, managing debt strategies, and maintaining strong banking relationships.
· Oversee HR functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals, culture, and operational needs.
· Provide strategic oversight of IT systems and networks, ensuring security, stability, and alignment with business objectives.
· Support the development and deployment of AI tools and technologies to enhance forecasting, operations, and decision-making.
· Lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
· Ensure full compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls.
· Manage standard-based costing processes and ensure accurate, actionable financial data for operational teams.
· Oversee ERP utilization and drive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting tools.
· Direct tax planning, insurance programs, and risk management activities.
· Build, mentor, and develop high-performing finance, HR, and IT teams.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
· CPA required

Experience:
· 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience; manufacturing experience required, packaging industry experience a plus.
· Strong knowledge of GAAP, ERP systems, and standard costing in a manufacturing environment.
· Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, tax planning, and debt management.
· Prior responsibility for financing/raising capital and managing banking relationships.
· Experience maintaining robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
· Solid understanding of IT networks and systems; comfortable supporting technology upgrades or AI implementation.
· Experience overseeing HR and/or IT teams preferred.
