As a Sales Specialist - Risk Mitigation, you will support the commercial lifecycle by ensuring proposals, contracts, and transactions are structured with strong risk awareness, compliance, and governance. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations to drive efficient and compliant deal execution.

As a Sales Specialist - Risk Mitigation, you will play a key role in proposal development, contract management, and commercial governance, ensuring alignment with internal standards and customer requirements.

As a Sales Specialist - Risk Mitigation, you will be responsible for:

Proposal Development

  • Preparing, compiling, and coordinating highquality commercial proposals and tender submissions in response to RFPs

  • Supporting pricing, commercial terms, and scope alignment with internal stakeholders

  • Ensuring proposals comply with client requirements, internal governance standards, and approval workflows

Contract Review & Management

  • Reviewing customer purchase orders, contracts, and amendments to assess:

    • Commercial terms

    • Risk exposure

    • Compliance with company standards and delegation of authority

  • Identifying deviations from standard terms and coordinating internal approvals, risk assessments, and negotiations

  • Redlining and supporting negotiation of commercial contracts

  • Supporting contract execution, amendments, and documentation control

  • Maintaining accurate and organized contract and proposal records

Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Supporting internal contract review processes and ensuring proper approvals prior to execution

  • Ensuring adherence to company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements

  • Assisting with audits, compliance reviews, and recordkeeping obligations

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Acting as a liaison between Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, and customers during proposal and contract stages

  • Supporting clarification responses, negotiations, and customer communications

  • Facilitating alignment across functions to ensure smooth commercial execution

Fuel Your Passion

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Have Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal, or a related field

  • Have 2-5+ years of experience in:

    • Contract administration

    • Commercial operations

    • Proposal management, or

    • A related commercial role

  • Have experience working with commercial contracts, purchase orders, and tender documentation

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Have high attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience in oil & gas, energy, industrial services, engineering, or regulated industries

  • Have familiarity with key contract terms such as:

    • Limitation of liability

    • Indemnities

    • Insurance requirements

    • Warranties and termination clauses

  • Have exposure to international or crossborder contracts

  • Have understanding of proposal governance, approval workflows, and risk management processes
