Overview

Project Management Organization

We manage the electric transmission and distribution portfolio of projects in Kentucky, with a focus on safely enhancing grid resiliency and reliability. We deploy a gated project management process across the full project life cycle, including project identification, initiation, engineering, construction planning, construction execution, and project closeout.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with managing project schedules (Primavera P6), project financials (PowerPlan), and project team communications.
  • Review financial data to ensure accuracy of estimate and cash flow inputs.
  • Learn key metrics for project and portfolio health analysis (EVM – Earned Value Management/CPI/SPI).
  • Evaluate field communications for impacts to schedules and committed costs.
  • Observe safety meetings, job briefings, and contribute as appropriate.
  • Assist Project Managers with project documentation, including requirements, meeting minutes, and other project records.

Education Requirements

Enrolled in school full time pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in construction management or engineering.
