Position Overview
The Analyst, Corporate Finance & Strategic Planning will play a critical role in supporting corporate finance budgeting, strategic growth initiatives, executing mergers & acquisitions transactions and due diligence, and supporting the development of board packages. This position will be based in either the Company's Manchester, CT or New York, NY offices.
Position Responsibilities
  • Assisting the execution of MCRA corporate finance planning & strategic initiatives, including financial analyses, valuation analyses, building financial models, credit package reporting, and integration planning.
  • Conducting due diligence on new target acquisition opportunities, competitive analyses, and other research and M&A functions.
  • Monitoring market and technology trends to help identify acquisitions and other business investment opportunities.
  • Maintaining acquisition pipeline reports.
  • Collect and analyze business data to develop models and reports based on the analysis.
  • Support the finance and business development teams in the preparation of monthly dashboards, quarterly reports, and board package materials.
  • Assist in creating presentations for senior management.
  • Supporting the creation of the MCRA documents including pitch decks, supplemental research decks, executive summary, board of managers meeting, and all other documents.
  • Assist in preparation for investor meetings
  • Ad hoc projects as needed
  • Ensure all work products comply fully with standards, policies, and mission of MCRA.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance
  • 1-3 Years of experience in similar job function
  • Expert level Microsoft Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical writing, & communication skills
  • Ability to interact with and build relationships with people from different departments and levels of seniority
  • Positive attitude, team player, and the ability to multitask
  • Highly efficient with technology
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Completion of a CFA Certification within 4-5 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • CFA Exam Level I or Higher
  • Merger & Acquisition Experience
