Job Description:
At Regions, the Intern works on department assignments while learning more about the financial services industry. As an intern, you will experience Regions' values while receiving job skills and training, personal development, and networking opportunities. Regions offers college internship opportunities within various departments.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Receives exposure to all basic functions of assigned group within the financial industry
  • Exposed to a wide range of tasks including research, administrative and correspondence work and attend meetings
  • Provides assistance in projects
  • Gains valuable insight within a variety of functions while strengthening core skills and knowledge needed to launch a successful career
  • Responsibilities will vary by internship

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
  • A college student who has interest in developing technical skills and gaining work experience
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks
  • Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Regions Bank is seeking motivated and analytical students to join our Finance Development Program (FDP) Internship. During this 10-week summer experience, interns will gain hands-on exposure to the Finance organization while supporting projects that help drive business performance, financial planning, and strategic decision-making across the bank.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial and operational data to support business decision-making
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities
  • Support strategic initiatives across Finance and other business units
  • Create reports, presentations, and analyses for key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with finance leaders and business partners across the organization
  • Participate in professional development and networking opportunities
  • Develop practical analytical, communication, and business skills through meaningful project work

Additional Requirements:
  • A student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2029
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks during the summer in Birmingham, AL
