We are looking for a Program Manager for the Autonomy, Processing & Exploitation (APEX) product line within FAST Labs. APEX research spans technology thrusts from sensor processing (including communications, position, navigation, and timing, and signal exploitation), through knowledge generation and sense-making, up to tactical and operational level autonomy and decision support for manned, unmanned, and teamed mission applications. Our research drives advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical signal processing, pushing the boundaries of what is possible through advanced system prototypes and capability demonstrations. We seek to expand and advance our capabilities into full-spectrum, all-domain, all-participant, multi-time-scale applications.
As a Program Manager, you will support programs for the FAST Labs™ business area headquartered in Merrimack, NH where our primary customers are DARPA and other government labs. This position requires a program manager who is motivated by hard problems, has the ability to comfortably operate in and through ambiguity, and understands how to use their technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from start to finish. FAST Labs™ program managers need to be able to work well with geographically diverse program teams and relevant stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks/opportunities, and develop/manage the program scheduled. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate equally well with: customers, end users, Sr. management, technical teams, and program functional support (finance, contracts, security).

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with at least 8 years of experience (6 years with a Master's degree) with at least 5 years' experience leading technical projects/programs
  • Ability to obtain DoW Top Secret/SCI clearance
