POSITION SUMMARY:
The Bank Manager leads a branch team in delivering exceptional customer service, building strong customer relationships, and supporting Landmark National Bank's commitment to serving our communities. This role drives branch growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while leading business development efforts and community engagement. The Bank Manager coaches and develops Associates, promotes accountability for service and sales performance, and partners with bank leadership and other divisions to achieve branch and organizational goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • People Leadership
    • Attract, hire, onboard, develop, engage, and retain high-performing Associates.
    • Establish clear expectations and hold Associates accountable for performance, service, and results.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, recognition, and development opportunities to support Associate growth and career progression.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment that promotes engagement and high performance.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and development planning discussions in a timely and thorough manner.

  • Business Development & Sales
    • Drive achievement of branch goals related to revenue, deposits, consumer lending, referrals, portfolio growth, and customer acquisition.
    • Partner with business lines and subject matter experts to deliver tailored financial solutions that meet customer needs and contribute to branch performance.
  • Branch Performance
    • Promote a relationship-based sales culture by coaching Associates to uncover customer needs, make referrals, and deliver tailored financial solutions.
    • Monitor and manage branch scorecard metrics, proactively identifying trends, performance gaps, and opportunities to improve results.
    • Establish clear expectations and accountability for individual and branch performance through goal setting, performance monitoring, and coaching.
  • Risk Management & Compliance
    • Monitor portfolio quality, identify emerging risks, and balance growth with sound credit practices.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, bank policies, and internal controls while identifying, managing, and escalating operational, credit, and compliance risks as appropriate.
  • Operational Excellence
    • o Allocate staffing and resources effectively to support business needs, service standards, and operational efficiency.

    • Oversee completion and accuracy of operational documentation, records, and reports to support regulatory and business requirements.

PEOPLE LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for leading, coaching, developing, and managing team members. Responsibilities include workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, performance management, Associate development, succession planning, Associate engagement, retention, recognition, and addressing performance concerns in partnership with Human Resources.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanning machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the
duties of this job, the Associate must be able to sit for extended periods on a regular basis and is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear. The Associate may occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving close visual focus.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, with periodic Saturday hours. Work schedules are determined by branch operating hours and coverage needs. Additional hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required to support customer, business, and community engagement activities.
TRAVEL:
This position occasionally requires local travel and there may rare instances of state-wide travel, which may require an overnight stay.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
  • 3 or more years of banking, financial services, retail management, or related customer-facing experience preferred.
  • 2 or more years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience with responsibility for coaching, performance management, and team development preferred.
  • Experience delivering sales, service, operational, and financial performance results.
  • Experience building customer relationships and identifying opportunities to deepen and expand client relationships.
  • Experience managing operational processes, controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience in business development, networking, and community engagement activities preferred.

Education:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
