A private family in the Dallas area is looking for a steady, detail-oriented professional to take charge of their personal finances — starting from scratch. There's no formal budget or system in place today, and the family's top priorities are getting organized, paying down debt, and landing on a sustainable budget they can stick to going forward. This is a hands-on, high-trust, build-it-yourself role for someone who genuinely enjoys bringing order to household finances and can be counted on to keep it all confidential.

Why You'll Love This Role
  • Meaningful, high-trust work directly supporting a family's financial peace of mind.
  • Flexible, part-time schedule that works around your existing commitments.
  • Remote-friendly, with occasional in-person availability in Dallas a plus.
  • A quiet, confidential environment — no sales pressure, no advisory obligations.
  • Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.
What You'll Do
  • Build a personal budget from the ground up and get the family fully organized, there's no formal system in place today.
  • Create and manage a debt payoff plan, tracking progress until it's paid off.
  • Manage day-to-day cash flow, bill payments, and account monitoring.
  • Build and maintain ongoing financial trackers and reporting tools the family can rely on long-term.
  • Work closely with the family's business CPA on where personal and business finances intersect.
  • Monitor accounts and flag anything that needs attention before it becomes a problem.
  • Keep all financial information strictly confidential.
Who You Are

  • Highly discreet. You understand the sensitivity of managing someone else's personal finances.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive about flagging issues early.
  • Able to work independently with minimal oversight once systems are in place.
  • Dallas-based preferred for occasional in-person meetings; open to strong remote candidates.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment, given this role's direct access to sensitive financial information.
Compensation & Logistics
  • $40–$55/hour, based on experience.
  • Part-time; weekly hours to be finalized based on candidate availability and family needs.
  • Engaged as a 1099 independent contractor.
