Job description

Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position is $50,000-$80,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. At Sawdey Solution Services, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company.

These factors include (but are not limited to) the position, associated responsibilities, work experience, education, related training, and related skills.Position Location:Remote, USAPosition Location Specifics:Remote, USAWork Environment:Remote/Telework/Work from HomeWho You'll Report To:This position will report directly to the Director of Managed Services Operations with oversight from the Senior Operations Analyst.About the Role:This position falls under the umbrella of Sawdey's Managed Services Division (MSD). Sawdey MSD is a full-service Managed Service Provider (MSP)/Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) providing IT and/or cybersecurity services to a variety of different clients (defense/government contractors, municipalities, non-profits, commercial organizations, etc.).The Operations Analyst will support various Sawdey MSD client relationships from an operational/financial perspective.Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Reconcile client agreement/invoices with correct user, workstation, license, etc

counts.- Obtain quotes from vendors/distributors and order equipment/licenses/etc. as requested for both clients and Sawdey.- Prepare sales and purchase orders related to both clients and Sawdey.- May assist with preparing client invoices and drafting client invoice emails.- May assist with drafting new Sawdey MSD contracts and modifications.- Perform analysis of resources/time needed to support clients.- Perform financial modeling and analysis (client profitability analysis, resource estimation, financial projections/actuals, etc.).- Accurately review, approve, and manage Sawdey MSD employee time entries and- timecards.- Train Sawdey MSD employees on time entry/timecards and other operational procedures.- Support the reconciliation/allocation of Sawdey MSD expenditures.- Support Sawdey MSD business development activities (assist with pricing/proposal preparation, financial/operational coordination for events, industry research, prospective client outreach, etc.).- Support responding to requests for quote/bid.- Support records management and maintaining Sawdey MSD SharePoint sites.- May assist with paying vendor/partner invoices.- Support risk management processes (identifying risks, conducting vendor due diligence/research, etc.).- Prepare both internal and external briefs.- Evaluate and recommend changes for Sawdey MSD operational optimization to include leveraging artificial intelligence (AI).- Support project management-related activities.- May assist with asset/inventory management (for both Sawdey and clients).- May assist in handling incoming client or vendor calls.- May assist with interviewing Sawdey MSD Operations Team candidates.- May assist with oversight for MSD Operations Interns.- May serve as a mentor to fellow Sawdey MSD Team members.- Understand and adhere to Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements.- May assist with proposal development, if necessary.- May perform other duties, as assigned.Experience Requirements:- Zero (0) to six (6) years of experience in finance, operational analysis, program management, procurement or similar field.o If zero (0) years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or another related field is required.- Experience reviewing time entries and timecards is preferred.- Experience using Excel and pivot tables to perform financial analysis is preferred.- Experience interacting with vendors/distributors and making payments to vendors/distributors is preferred.- Experience reconciling expense purchases is preferred.Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Operations, or another related field highly preferred; if zero (0) years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or another related field is required.Other Required Skills & Abilities:- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.- Must be able to communicate and collaborate with corporate employees, clients, and colleagues in a professional, respectful, and timely manner.- Must have daily and accurate time entry accounting for all service and non-service tasks.- Must be able to articulate technical information to non-technical people.- Must be self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work with minimal direction and oversite.- Must be able to pay very close attention to detail.- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation.- Must be able to use personal smartphone device on an as-needed basis to perform job-related tasks such as supporting an on-call rotation, accessing Microsoft Teams and Outlook, and enabling/signing into multi-factor authentication (MFA) applications.o Please Note: Incoming and Outgoing calls are made via an assigned extension in Microsoft Teams desktop.
