Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage day-to-day operations of the business office, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, and resident financial accounts.
  2. Oversee the processing of insurance claims, Medicaid, and Medicare billing, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  3. Coordinate and monitor resident financial transactions, including payments, deposits, and refunds.
  4. Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports for management.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve financial and billing issues.
  6. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to long-term care billing and financial management.
  7. Perform daily census tasks and set up insurance plans.

Qualifications
  1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a business office management role within a long-term care or healthcare setting.
  2. Strong knowledge of billing and financial processes, including Medicaid/Medicare and verifying payer sources.
  3. Knowledge of RFMS resident trust accounts.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suites.
  5. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
