Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Investigate methods to analyze slot play, table games and/or marketing and entertainment events
Create mathematical models that will improve analytical tools or provide advanced methods to research performance of games and promotions.
Create in-depth financial models using databases, Excel and other software.
Apply statistical techniques to address practical issues in a casino environment.
Analyze performance of slot machines in casino environment.
Analyze opportunities to improve profits.
Assist with budget, cost and variance analysis.
Assist with financial planning and modeling.
Support senior staff with special projects.
Review financial statements and distribute analysis which is used to make major financial decisions-primarily with respect to major events and promotions.
Use financial analysis, and the study of industry and market trends to compile data that will be used in planning meetings to plot, or correct, business strategies
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook.
Ability of simple reading, writing, and complex math and task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills: clerical, compiling, analyzing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, and independent judgment.
Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Casino accounting/finance experience is preferred.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting, occasionally standing, and walking during the duration of their shift.
The team member will constantly make repetitive use of their dominant hand. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
