Citizens is seeking a high-performing Finance Manager to join the CFO organization supporting the Private Bank, a rapidly growing and strategically important business. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior business and finance leadership, driving deposit forecasting, pricing strategy, and performance analytics to support profitable growth and balance sheet optimization.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role offering significant visibility and influence, combining strategic planning, advanced analytics, and business partnership.  The position plays a critical role in linking deposit performance to broader macroeconomic trends, interest rate dynamics, and enterprise balance sheet objectives, while owning analytics end-to-end-from data and methodology through insight generation and decision support.

What You'll Do

  • Lead deposit forecasting and planning, including balance, mix, and rate assumptions; deliver accurate monthly outlooks, variance analysis, and driver-based insights 

  • Contribute to multi-year and strategic planning, incorporating macroeconomic factors, interest rate scenarios, and business growth objectives 

  • Support and influence deposit pricing strategy, including rate recommendations, competitive analysis, and profitability optimization 

  • Own and enhance end-to-end analytics, including data inputs, forecasting methodologies, model development, and insight delivery 

  • Serve as a key finance partner and trusted advisor to Private Bank leadership, influencing decisions that impact deposit growth, pricing, and client economics 

  • Deliver executive-ready reporting and insights, clearly articulating key drivers, risks, and opportunities, including materials supporting senior leadership discussions 

  • Partner across Finance, Treasury, and business teams to optimize funding mix and balance sheet performance 

  •  Drive data and analytics transformation, including automation, tooling enhancements, and scalable reporting solutions to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency 

  • Identify opportunities to modernize data infrastructure and processes, strengthening the foundation for forward-looking analytics and decision support

  • Provide ad hoc analysis and strategic support for initiatives impacting Private Bank performance and long-term profitability

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Science/Engineering/Math with relevant experience in a Finance organization

  • Progressive experience in banking finance, treasury, or balance sheet management

  • Strong understanding of deposit products, pricing dynamics, and banking balance sheet drivers, including sensitivity to macroeconomic and rate environments

  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with data and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI) preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into clear, executive-level insights that drive action

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and operate effectively in a high-visibility environment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and governance

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Private Bank, Wealth Management, or deposit-focused businesses

  • Familiarity with funds transfer pricing (FTP), interest rate sensitivity, and liquidity metrics

  • Experience building or enhancing forecasting models, data pipelines, or analytical tools

  • Exposure to scenario analysis or long-range financial planning
