Position Summary...Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis to lead FP&A operational enablement, financial planning, workforce planning, and performance management initiatives. This role requires expertise in financial systems, predictive analytics, and process improvement to support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data governance and drive workforce planning efforts. Proficiency in consolidation tools and stakeholder management is essential to optimize financial operations and deliver actionable insights that align with organizational goals. This position plays a critical role in advancing Walmart’s financial planning and forecasting capabilities.
About the Team
The Enterprise FP&A Operational COE enables financial planning and performance management across Walmart US, Sam's Club, International, and Corporate Finance. By combining OneStream administration, process excellence, and self-service capabilities, we help Finance leaders improve data integrity, accelerate financial cycles, and unlock actionable insights that drive better business decisions across the enterprise. We deliver scalable solutions that strengthen planning capabilities, enhance operational excellence, and enable Finance teams to focus more on strategic decision-making and less on manual processes. What you'll do...
  • Lead FP&A operational support activities that enable planning, forecasting, workforce planning, and performance management processes.
  • Partner with Finance, Transformation, Product, and Engineering teams to improve financial systems, data quality, and process effectiveness.
  • Drive OneStream administration, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple Finance segments.
  • Oversee planning-cycle readiness, production support, and issue resolution to ensure reliable finance operations.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and improve the user experience.
  • Develop team capabilities and coach associates in finance operations, systems, and process excellence.
  • Identify opportunities to expand self-service capabilities and improve Finance productivity through automation, self-service capabilities, and AI-enabled solutions.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience leading FP&A, financial systems, finance operations, or performance management functions in a complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of planning, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial reporting processes.
  • Experience with OneStream or comparable Enterprise Performance Management platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, Transformation, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement, governance, and operational excellence.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
  • Passion for developing teams and building scalable, sustainable solutions that improve business outcomes at enterprise scale.
