About the Role:

The Fiduciary Management Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' financial assets are managed in accordance with their best interests and regulatory requirements. This position works with Trust Operations and Fiduciary Administration to fully develop and learn the skills necessary to become Trust Officer. Support account setup, asset transfer, account review, investment review, policies, fees, and platform processes and procedures. Acquire knowledge of tax reporting for trusts, IMA, IRA, and estates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and associates.
  • Proficient reading, verbal and written communication, mathematical, interpersonal, sales and PC skills; proven proficiency within Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Fiduciary Officers to assist in the performance of a variety of trust administration functions including but not limited to administration of accounts, estate settlement and new business support.
  • Proactively address administrative exceptions and coordinate workflow between the Fiduciary Administration team and Trust Operations.
  • Review and close tasks and exceptions communicated through the Cheetah system by Orrstown Financial Advisor (OFA) field and fiduciary teams, BPO, and Fifth Third custody reconciliations.
  • Complete quarterly and annual tax balance due and estimated payment processing. Coordinate agent for trust returns, and 990 returns with area Certified Public Accounting firms.
  • Research field questions.
  • Provide Accunet backup to Trust Operations.
