Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the performance of a stabilized multifamily community. This role is ideal for a high-potential professional who is ready to take the next step in property management by strengthening their financial, operational, and leadership skills.

You will partner closely with the Property Manager to drive leasing performance, optimize collections, and support overall asset success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Property Manager to execute on leasing, occupancy, and revenue goals
  • Support and help guide the leasing team to ensure strong performance, accountability, and compliance with company policies and Fair Housing standards
  • Analyze and manage resident ledgers, financial reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and support property performance
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies based on local market conditions
  • Drive collections efforts through consistent follow-up, problem-solving, and resident communication
  • Deliver a high-quality resident experience by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and contribute to NOI growth
  • Lead by example, reinforcing a culture of accountability, customer service, and performance

Requirements

  • Experience in multifamily property management, leasing, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and financial aptitude, with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and follow through on key initiatives
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing and housing regulations
  • Proficiency with RealPage and Microsoft Office (Excel skills preferred)
  • CALP designation preferred

Work Environment

  • Onsite role with availability during standard office hours, including weekends
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Physical requirements include walking, standing, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $24.00/hour
  • Uncapped Commission Potential
