Job Description
Position Overview:
The Student Financial Services (SFS) Department is looking for a Financial Literacy Student Assistant to support financial education initiatives on campus. This role involves creating engaging financial literacy content for social media, researching and sharing scholarship opportunities, and representing financial literacy at campus events. Additional responsibilities include general office support, occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Vet and publish scholarship opportunities to ensure students receive accurate, timely, and relevant information.
  • Create and manage financial literacy content for social media (e.g., budgeting, scholarships, student loans, money management).
  • Research and draft engaging posts that make financial topics accessible and relevant to students.
  • Engage students by promoting financial literacy initiatives both online and at campus events.Gather insights and success stories from students, faculty, and staff to feature in content.
  • Support general office operations, including data entry, and responding to inquiries.

Wage Range:
$16.90 - $18.10/hr
