Dagley Insurance and Financial Services, Inc., a comprehensive independent insurance provider, is seeking an assertive Insurance Agent to join our Internet Sales Division. The Insurance Agent will be responsible for following up and answering inquiries from live inbound calls and internet leads from highly interested potential policyholders, as well as answer the client's questions and close the sale. The specialty lines include home, auto, umbrella, flood, motorcycle and RV coverage. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, comfortable on the phone and computers and understands the competitiveness of the Internet insurance market.

We believe in educating our clients about the products being purchased through our knowledgeable and well-trained staff. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of sales experience, thrives in a goal-oriented environment, has excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high regard for customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Insurance Agent:

  • Follow up on calls and emails for prospective clients regarding personal lines insurance
  • Performs outbound calls and follow up work to close the sale
  • Writes quality risk policies, makes decisions by interpreting and using appropriate classification systems, tiers, selection standards, and sales techniques to close the sale
  • Recommends appropriate coverage for policies, limits, deductibles while considering customer needs and carrier guidelines
  • Contribute to the team's goals by meeting individual production requirements

Qualification for the Insurance Agent:

  • Minimum of 2 years' sales experience
  • Property & Casualty license
  • Must possess integrity, ability and willingness to continue to learn, demonstrate drive and initiative, ambition and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be independent, self-motivated and have the drive to succeed
