Job Description

As an Intern in the Commercial Vehicle Sales Group, you will be responsible for assisting the Business Unit Sales Teams in managing their commercial and project activities with Heavy Duty Truck Customers in the areas of advanced electronics, steering, braking, and powertrain.  You will have the opportunity to collaborate and coordinate the activities with the global Bosch team - in North America, Germany and India.

As a Sales Intern, you will support our Commercial Vehicle Team with tasks such as:

  • Coordination of Samples of Daimler Trucks, Volvo Trucks, PACCAR, International and many other NA customers:
    • Initiating sample requests, documenting purchase orders
    • Coordinating information flow with the sample shop in Europe
    • Track arrival times with the various production plants
    • Update status in the master sample tracker and keep the Sales Teams informed of the status
    • Manage customer specific sample requirements
    • Track outbound deliveries with the customers
  • Engineering changes quote letters
  • Support common activities between the business units to assure efficiencies are gained in North America
  • Maintain list of open items, create and distribute meeting minutes for internal and external meetings as needed.
  • Special assignments as requested.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an university with one semester completed, Freshman or Sophomore semester or starting Masters pursuing an Engineering or Business degree (ME, EE, and CS)
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Good communication skills and ability to work in an international team
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, and Outlook 
  • Should have interest in Sales, Project Management and Commercial tasks 
  • Sharp attention to detail and polished organization skills with ownership of tasks 
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to provide technical solutions built around customer needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the aptitude for presenting topics to all organizational levels
