We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Operational Financial Analyst – Intern.

In this role you will be responsible for the Financial Analyst Intern will serve in supporting role for financial analysis in AAM division. Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:

  • This is a development role with Finance and controlling experiences that help focus on financial reporting across actuals and forecast processes. The successful candidate will have interest and educational training in accounting and financial analysis. Ad hoc financial analysis projects in addition to contributing to recurring monthly financial analysis requirements. Be able to prioritize actions to deliver results within defined deadlines. Support the development of standardized processes and tools to make month end and forecast activities more efficient and repeatable.

If you have/are:

  • Major in finance or accounting bachelor’s degree program at a 4-year university,

  • Masters/MBA preferred.

  • Previous work experience using Microsoft Excel and Essbase or OneStream financial systems.

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis in an automotive company is a plus.

  • Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting as well as fundamental

  • Microsoft Excel skills. English, Spanish a plus.
