Job description

Position Summary 

The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department by assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, data analysis, and administrative projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare finance while offering exposure to hospital operations, accounting processes, and financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and budget analyses.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial activities.
  • Review and organize financial data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct research and analyze trends to support departmental initiatives.
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance-related projects.
  • Collaborate with Finance team members on special projects and process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient-related information.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
