Overview
The AI Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing artificial intelligence solutions that enhance our internal corporate services, client facing applications, and improve our customer experiences
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement machine learning and deep learning models to address various challenges and build out AI functionality for our clients.
  • Train, validate, and fine-tune AI models using state-of-the-art techniques and libraries, and assess their performance using appropriate metrics.
  • Deploy AI models into production environments, collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to ensure seamless integration, and monitor model performance in real-time.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and financial technology, and apply innovative solutions to solve complex HR and Payroll problems.
  • Leads creation of data analytics capability for identifying key performance drivers and action plans to continuously improve performance and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, and business analysts, to drive AI initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of AI models, data pipelines, and processes.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field - Required
    • 1 year of experience in developing and deploying machine learning and deep learning models, preferably in a financial or fintech setting.
    • 5 years of experience in Developing Software Solutions.
    • 2 years of experience in cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
    • 2 years of experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
    • 1 year of experience in LLM tuning and tools like LangChain.

    Compensation
    In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $124,000 - $160,000 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
