Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and integrity of our organization by managing a wide range of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, proficiency with financial software, and a passion for accuracy and compliance. As an integral part of our team, you will ensure that financial records are precise, timely, and aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using financial software such as Sage.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to verify accuracy of financial data.
  • Record journal entries accurately, including debits & credits, ensuring proper double entry bookkeeping practices.
  • Conduct month end and year end closing procedures, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis.
  • Assist with payroll management ensuring timely processing and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Support internal controls by adhering compliance measures and participating in audits.
  • Utilize Excel for data analysis, budgeting, and financial modeling to support decision making processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of accounting transactions and support audit preparations with clear records.

Requirements
