Job description

Job Title: Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration of project: 6 months

Mode of Interview: Video

An Epic Conversion Analyst is a healthcare IT professional who specializes in migrating data from legacy electronic health record (EHR) systems into the Epic EHR platform. The role ensures that clinical and administrative data is accurately mapped, transformed, and loaded into Epic, maintaining integrity and usability for end users 

Key Responsibilities:

Data Migration & Conversion: Translate business requirements into functional specifications; map legacy data elements to Epic’s data structures; develop and execute data conversion scripts and programs 

Data Validation & Testing: Validate data extracts, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and resolve errors during the conversion process to minimize disruption to patient care 

Collaboration: Partner with technical teams, application analysts, clinicians, and stakeholders to align data requirements with Epic’s capabilities 

Process Documentation: Document conversion procedures, best practices, and lessons learned for future reference 

Training & Support: Provide guidance to clients or internal teams on data conversion processes and Epic system use 

Compliance & Security: Adhere to healthcare data handling regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Certification Required: Epic Bridges
