  • Manage and develop a team of project accountants and accounting staff
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness
  • Drive financial planning & analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Actively manage cash flow, forecasting liquidity needs across projects and the business
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and construction-specific accounting standards
  • Coordinate audits and maintain strong internal controls, leveraging prior public audit experience
  • Partner with project managers and operations leaders to improve financial performance and project outcomes
  • Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent required (CPA or equivalent preferred)
  • 5–10+ years of experience in public accounting (audit), with a focus on construction clients
  • Experience working with or transitioning into a private construction or contracting environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting (percentage of completion, job costing, WIP schedules)
  • Experience overseeing project accountants or similar roles
  • Proven strength in FP&A, financial analysis, and cash flow management
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Why Join Us:

  • Clear leadership pathway with strong executive support
  • Opportunity to step into a well-run finance function and make a meaningful impact
  • Close-knit, collaborative culture with high visibility across the organization
  • Competitive compensation and benefits

Compensation:
