As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a lively retail and entertainment location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests and team members while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail entertainment location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of bowling, amusement, retail, parking, entrance, and perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe guest activity to help support a welcoming environment and help deter unauthorized access, theft, and disruptive behavior.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
