This Inventory Control Lead will support Operations Manager/General Operations Manager with leading, guiding and directing a group of associates while ensuring that daily departmental goals are met through the Williams-Sonoma objectives in Safety, Service, Quality and Cost in the assigned department.
The Inventory Control Lead position is located in Litchfield Park, AZ.

  • Share business information through floor presence
  • Work well with other department Leads/Operations Managers in assisting and trading resources when necessary
  • Suggest improvements to current techniques
  • Train and direct a team of associates to achieve departmental production goals in order to provide customers with the ultimate delivery experience
  • Control the workflow on the floor to include prioritizing team goals to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Track productivity, research and resolve issues, provide feedback on productivity and quality related performance
  • Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and be extremely detailed on all written and verbal communications/documentations
  • Must be able to perform basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
  • Able to take initiative and work with minimal direction
  • Have excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team
  • Available to work overtime and flexible schedules
  • Available to work in various departments and buildings as needed
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

We prefer some of these qualities as well....

  • At least 2 years of work experience in high volume distribution or manufacturing
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
