Financial Analyst, Capital Markets (Industrial)

Job Description Summary

Position Summary: The Capital Markets Financial Analyst ("CMFA") Hub Analyst will support transactions generated by Cushman & Wakefield's Investment Sales brokerage services across multiple product types, with a concentration in office valuation analyses. The primary role of the CMFA will be to perform financial analysis activities of pricing, Excel valuation model creation and auditing, lease abstractions, due diligence collection and review, market data collection, and translating analysis findings into high-level summaries with oversight from senior members of the team.
The ideal candidate will be based in Irvine, California and available to work on-site in a local Cushman & Wakefield office. Team members may be expected to travel and work outside normal operating hours depending on the product type and markets they service and to meet project deadlines.

Job Description

Essential Duties

  • Support the execution of Broker financialanalysis / modelingrequests

  • Prepare pro forma statements,discounted cash flow analyses, andExcel-based financial modelswith consideration of market conditions

  • Conduct audits of existing financial models for accuracy of model inputs and validityof assumptions

  • Reviewleases to abstract key data points andidentifyareas of issue/concern

  • Conduct market researchtoanalyzeproperty andmarket conditions;synthesize findings in a clear, concise manner

  • Develop high-level analysis summaries byidentifyingtransaction considerations(strengths/weaknesses), trends, outliers, and logical inconsistencies

  • Identifyandcommunicateany missing information or unclear requests to ensureaccurateanalyses; coordinate collection ofadditionalinformation asrequired

  • Review analyses withsenior team members,answer clarifying questions and makeaccuraterevisions

  • Participateinknowledgeshareand content management bydocumenting processes and training materialsanddisseminatingtools, templates, and best practices

  • Performs other related duties asrequiredor requested.
