Job Description

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as an Operations Finance Analyst Principal supporting a critical mission at Robins AFB, GA. ARMA Global, a fully owned subsidiary of GDIT, is your place to make meaningful contributions to challenging projects and grow a rewarding career.

  • Experience in Financial Management and Comptroller to serve as the principal financial advisor, providing high-quality and objective guidance to all levels of decision-makers.
  • This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and entire oversight of all financial management activities, including the formulation, justification, defense, and execution of not only extensive but complex budgets.
  • Experience in financial policies and fiscal controls to ensure legal regulatory compliance is adhered to.
  • Daily duties require extensive use of the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) to manage financial operating plans, track budget execution, and address any funding shortfalls.
  • Will oversee critical financial oversight initiatives, which includes any Quality Assurance Programs for accounting activities.
  • The role requires thorough knowledge and oversight of military and civilian pay and travel and utilizes Defense Travel System (DTS), Defense Joint Military Pay System (DJMS), Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS), and Air Force Reserve Order Writing System (AROWS-R).
  • Knowledge of these systems are crucial to ensure adherence to regulations which include the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) for DTS travel operations, the DoW Financial Management Regulation (FMR) Vol 7A, 8, and 9 for all military and civilian pay admin, Title 5 and Title 37 of the United States Code (U.S.C) for civilian and military personnel entitlements, and the federal Antideficiency Act (Title 31 U.S.C.) to prevent violations of fiscal law.
  • Experience in applying analytical techniques and maintaining audit readiness, providing professional continuity and expertise necessary to ensure all funds are accounted for and supports the mission.
  • Prepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts
  • Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government FAR and Directive 70-1
  • Creation, maintenance, and updating of financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required
  • Excellent communication, influencing, project management, and management/leadership skills
  • Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Experience in briefing and directly supporting General and Flag level Officer and Senior Executives

  • Education: Bachelors degree
  • Experience: 6+ years of related military experience or 10+ Civilian Equivalent
  • Technical skills: Microsoft office
  • Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI clearance
  • US citizenship required
  • Experience - Military Experience, Special Operations, Finance

Optional Skills and Abilities:

  • Commercial finance and banking experience

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $76,565 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
