About the Role

As Chief Financial Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, capital formation and long-term value creation. This is an opportunity to join a business at a defining stage of its growth, working alongside founders, investors and an experienced executive team to build a market-leading platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead all corporate finance, treasury, FP&A, accounting and investor relations activities.
• Develop and execute capital raising strategies across debt, equity and project finance.
• Build and maintain relationships with infrastructure funds, institutional investors and lending partners.
• Lead financial strategy for a rapidly expanding AI and data center infrastructure platform.
• Support acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee financial modelling, forecasting and capital allocation across a growing development portfolio.
• Lead Board reporting, governance and strategic planning.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance organisation capable of supporting rapid growth.
• Partner with commercial, development and operations teams on investment decisions and long-term business strategy.
• Prepare the business for future financing events, strategic transactions or potential public market activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• 15+ years' progressive finance leadership experience.
• Previous experience as a CFO, Deputy CFO, Treasurer or Senior Finance Executive.
• Proven experience raising debt, equity and project finance capital.
• Strong treasury, corporate finance and capital markets experience.
• Experience working with Boards, investors and executive leadership teams.
• Exceptional leadership and commercial decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills

• Previous CFO, Deputy CFO, Treasurer or Senior Finance Executive experience within data center infrastructure, digital infrastructure, AI infrastructure, power, energy or telecommunications.
• Experience leading finance within a high-growth start-up or scale-up, with the ability to build finance functions, processes and teams from the ground up.
• Proven success raising debt, equity, project finance and structured capital from institutional investors, infrastructure funds and lending partners.
• Public company experience, including SEC reporting, Board reporting, investor relations and capital markets communications.
• Experience supporting IPO readiness, public-to-private transactions or listed businesses.
• Demonstrated experience leading M&A, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investments.
• Expertise in treasury, liquidity management, financial planning, capital allocation and corporate finance.
• Experience working with private equity, infrastructure funds or sponsor-backed businesses.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to partner closely with founders, CEOs and Boards.
• Highly desirable: Experience supporting the development or operation of hyperscale, colocation or AI data center platforms.
• Exposure to RTOs/ISOs such as ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, CAISO or NYISO, including large-load interconnections, power procurement and energy strategy.
• Experience across renewable energy, battery storage, power generation, utilities or transmission infrastructure.
• Track record of scaling businesses through periods of rapid growth, institutional investment and expansion.

Pay range and compensation package

Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Bonus + Equity
