This role works with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and streamline existing processes to drive operational efficiency and improved customer experience. Qualified candidates will have prior experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with bank departments to conduct structured requirements-gathering sessions, uncovering and clarifying needs related to reporting and process improvement opportunities.
  • Document detailed and clear requirements and process flows, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Perform functional testing of completed work to validate requirements and ensure quality of deliverables prior to user acceptance testing.
  • Lead iterative user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles focused on validating results, collecting feedback, and driving defect resolution.
  • Coordinate regression testing during system upgrades to maintain stability and continuity.
  • Validate data accuracy for reports and data feeds.
  • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for workflow and reporting tools, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.
  • Track, analyze, and prioritize defects and enhancement requests related to deployed workflows and reports.
  • Comfort working with artificial intelligence (AI) tools to complete requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis assignments.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated output for banking and business accuracy.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

This role requires an analytical thinker with excellent organizational skills and an above-average attention to detail. The ideal candidate thrives in managing multiple workflow projects concurrently, excels at requirements gathering, and enjoys transforming complex business needs into clear, actionable plans. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ask the right questions, listen actively, and translate ideas into clear documentation, are essential.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent amount of relevant experience, is required.

Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a banking environment as an analyst or in a similar role with direct, hands-on experience documenting and testing technical projects or process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or participate in all phases of project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, design, user acceptance testing, and deployment.
  • Experience facilitating detailed requirements sessions and translating complex business needs into clear, actionable functional documentation and related test cases.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word (document clarity), Excel (data analysis), and Visio (workflow/process documentation).
  • Exceptional attention to detail to detect defects and maintain quality during testing cycles.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in live environments to uncover needs and clarify requirements, even when business users aren’t sure what they want. The ability to ask the right questions, listen actively, and translate ideas into clear documentation is critical.
  • Adept at using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio efficiently to prevent bottlenecks during meetings and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate testing efforts and effectively use internal tools for defect tracking.
  • Strong independent work ethic balanced with collaborative cross-departmental communication.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL or data querying techniques would be considered a plus.
