A leading global law firm is seeking a Finance Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing financial institutions, private equity sponsors, direct lenders, and corporate borrowers in sophisticated commercial lending and leveraged finance transactions.

Ideal Background

5+ years of finance, banking, or leveraged finance experience
• Significant experience with complex commercial lending transactions
• Experience handling leveraged finance and acquisition financings preferred
• Experience representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, or financial institutions
• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment papers, security agreements, and related financing documents
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
